I watched the Republican debate last night and goodness it was quite rowdy.
But I’m not complaining except for Donald Trump sounding like a Democrat with that “no weapons of mass destruction” mantra. Well why not? Even George Dubya didn’t defend himself and this is exactly why we should not elect another Bush….as in Jeb.
Going to write a post about this along with my Sunday political show ruminations.

Am singing at the ten am mass, yup in the choir loft where there’s no damn place to kneel and like I told Father Flowers, one of the reasons I go to mass is so I can get on my knees, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. On Ash Wednesday I did manage to secure a kneeling spot on some kind of ledge thing but it’s not very long and won’t hold the entire choir.
So many of the men in the choir WERE KNEELING ON THE CHOIR LOFT FLOOR!
That sight had me catching my breath, darn they looked like those poor sailors held captive on that Iranian boat.
Man you got your choir people having to kneel on the floor, that’s kind of pathetic.
I also complained about not having a place to put our coats, etc.
Anyway, both Todd and Father Tom wrote me back for the power of my email rant, assuring me that coat racks and places to kneel would be coming right up…..toot de sweet.
I mean if I wanted to sit instead of kneel….I’D BECOME A PROTESTANT!!!
Let’s see, what else did my words bring last week?
Oh, we’re fixing the dog laws in Delaware, thank me very much.
Also working on a task force to handle the roadside trash problem in Sussex county.
Of course I exaggerate but you’d be surprised at the power one humble Blogger yields because said Blogger writes about stuff and doesn’t let up.
Should be an interesting morning on the Sunday political talk show circuit, keep me up to date and if I survive the choir loft I will be back to re-join.
Happy Valentine’s day everyone. I got NO gifts or cards from anybody, in case one should wonder. Not necessarily complaining, didn’t have to buy anyone anything either.

Yeah, I did cringe at Trump’s Jesse Ventura imitation there. But I also measured that with the fact that Trump was landing a blow against JEB.
Having served in the military during the whole Saddam Hussein days, Hussein very well did have Weapons of Mass Destruction! Like a GEICO commercial, “Everybody Knows That.” At that time (1980s). And no, the USA did not sell a single weapons system to the Iraqis. The Iraqis MAIN weapons and even WOMD salesmen where the Soviets, Germans and French.
Anyway, I’d remind Donald: Who gassed the Kurds? The evidence was overwhelming! Now after the Israelis bombed Osirak* Hussein may very well have NOT had a nuclear program, but he had chemicals and germs at his disposal, and chose to use the chemicals against both the Kurds an Iranians, there is no dispute in history about that.
*The Israeli Air Force mission against Hussein’s nuclear facility (sold to them by France, by the way) was named “Operation Babylon”. Should have been “Operation ALAS Babylon!”
