By both the Judicial review committee and upheld by the state Supreme Court UNANIMOUSLY, 8-0.
Of course I'm bettin' you'd claim they weren't real conservatives.
Hedge your bets towards how many are left sitting on the bench after their votes? Lets just say Judge Roy Moore is now head of the Supreme court in Alabama. I have met him personally at several Tea Party events. Bill Pryor quickly left the state after being thrown a bone from Bush for his actions. The Recess Appointment given Pryor is today of relevance in that Obama may try to use it to put in his supreme court pick if Congress slips (or GOPes makes an underhanded deal with Obama).
Now the court is solidly conservative. 8 - 0 was also the vote total (Moore Abstaining) they voted last year to uphold Alabama's constitutional definition of marriage (which the public voted 81% in favor for).
