There were some very serious cases coming up before the court where Justice Scalia would have been likely ben the deciding vote on decisions not favorable to Obama and the democrats; abortion, Little Sisters of the Poor, labor union “fair share” fees, college admissions Affirmative Action, separation of church and state, Obama’s Clean Power Plan...
A suspicious person might wonder how the democrats got so lucky.
But events seem to frequently work out in their favor.

If Obama puts another America-hating, constitution-hating liberal on the SCOTUS we’re in heap big trouble.
If an open open borders GOPe amnesty pimp is elected to the presidency, we immediately get 20 million more democrat voters with millions more following. We’ll never be able to get another Republican much less conservative elected and the twin alien and Muslim invasions will turn America into a third-world hell hole with ten years.

Well .. I believe Obama has just begun to tear this country apart. The stuff taking place now is just to antagonize everybody.
However, if he can get control of the Supreme Court, he can get sweeping changes made and no court to challenge him.

All Democrats—Obama, Hillary!, and Sanders—have promised that all their nominees will “protect a woman’s right to choose” to have her baby chopped to pieces. Nothing partisan or political about that, right? Just protecting the Constitution and the rule of law, right?
The cynic in me expects the first openly gay nomination...and the gop will be scared to oppose it.
The Republicans should tell Obama that any Senate hearings on a possible nomination to replace Antonin Scalia will happen AFTER the following:
a. DoJ fully responds to ALL outstanding questions on Fast and Furious.
b. DoJ fully responds to all issues related to Clinton’s e-mail server, violations of security requirements for classified materials, etc. (In other words - first appoint a special prosecutor to deal with the issue IMPARTIALLY - or no hearings for a replacement Justice.)
c. Since the new Justice would likely be the deciding vote on critical issues to Obama’s legacy - like his illegal attempts to give amnesty, not enforce immigration laws, etc. ....all those ‘pleadings before the Supreme Court’ must be withdrawn and the lower court rulings accepted.
