Thank you! W left office with the economy in shambles and historic low approval. This isn’t time for nostalgia.
And I don’t think W is as loved by Republicans as some here may think.
Nor is it the time to elect a man who would make Michael Moore proud.
I bashed Bush toward the end as much as anyone but to embrace he was responsible for 9-11 when he’d been in office less than 9 months and didn’t even have a full staff because the Democrats were blocking his nominations after the close election? Ridiculous.
I have nothing in common as a conservative with anyone who would support Donald Trump, and I’m glad for that.
I liked W-—was in the Oval Office with him for an hour and a half-—but it was W (NOT OBAMA) who signed the Iraq withdrawal. I wish it wasn’t.
Regardless of what the narrow band of Trump haters here say, the old guard of Bush supporters is gone and he is highly unpopular with the grass roots today, especially the more Libertarian Tea Party.
That's what happens when you endure 8 years of "selected not elected" and "lie after lie after lie" and "shrub" and "Bushitler" without defending one's self or fighting back.
That's why we need a Republican who fights back hard, decisively, and immediately.
