Trump is trying to position himself for the GENERAL ELECTION.

W is blamed to this day for the economy and multiple wars we had no business being in.

Now Hillary/Sanders can’t attack Trump about George W. Bush’s record on (1) Iraq or (2) the bailouts.

I think there is merit to that thinking. Whether it was an intentional strategy or a continuation of what happened before, I can't say. I don't think the public will care.

The risk for Trump is still that the establishment will do whatever they can to make Trump "stink" to the public', to make him offensive to everyone. You can see it here tonight with the concern trolls who say "Trump lost them" tonight. The psyops war is starting now that voting has begun.
