Absolutely! It’s such a joke to blame Cruz or anyone else over the way Roberts has turned out! Roberts is the only one who can answer or be blamed for his actions on the SCOTUS. The real problem is, we’re going to have 3-4 justices that will need to be replaced by the next Administration (assuming the Republican controlled Senate has a spine and prevents Obama from adding a definite leftist to the court), yet apparently, a lot of people seem comfortable with the idea of Trump being the one to nominate them. And, his idea of a great judge would be the likes of his sister, Maryanne Trump Barry, pro-abort that she is. If it falls to him, I’m afraid we’re screwed, much as we would be if Hillary or Bernie was choosing them.
You... DO realize that when Trump seriously answered the question instead of a flippant compliment to his sister, he answered that he liked Thomas and Alito, right?
Roberts had about two years on the bench when dimwitted GW Bush picked him to not only be a justice, but to the the new CHIEF JUSTICE. Kicking longtime Justice Scalia under the table. Roberts had very few legal opinions of note that could be reviewed to see what type of justice he might be. He had NO PAPER TRAIL. The only thing he was known for was represented a couple of homosexuals PRO-BONO before the Supreme Court. No one knew anything about him. Cruz knew him and liked him. Bush knew him. It has long been rumored that Roberts is a closeted homosexual, but for some strange reason he was the good friend of the towering conservative Cruz and dimwitt GW Bush. He gave us ObamaCare and before he’s through on the court will turn out to nothing in the world but a wasted Supreme Court pick, unless you’re a liberal.
I am beginning to think he is in this to win it and then deliberately lose it to Hellary.
