Everyone lies about that one. Because PP REFERS people to places that give mammograms. But the expense is not theirs.
You are correct, you should remember however that a referral from PP is no different from a referral from me. It is not like they call the hospital and help you schedule a mammogram they simply say “ go to the hospital and get a mammogram” that is the extent of their referral system.
To confound the issue, remember that PP always gives manual breast exams to women coming in. To the ones getting abortions, and anyone else. So if they fudge and say they checked women’s breasts for lumps, people might assume they mean mammograms.
