I was thinking of skipping the debate tonight, not now. I want to hear every candidatesâ thoughts on this. This is a clear test. Any candidate who even hints at letting Obama get a nominee on the court is disqualified in my eyes. We know what they all will say, I will choose conservative court blah blah blah. It's a GIVEN. But I put my money on Cruz to actually do it. He has stuck his neck and reputation on the line again and again over judges appointments. he has stood tall, to the point of alienating himself with his OWN party. I pray our REPUBLICAN senate will do its' job. But I don't hold out hope.

I concur, but each candidate needs to be on the record on this issue.

Cruz even mentioned a name — his old boss Michael Luttig. Someone like Luttig would be an excellent selection.
