I did not have any vaccines and my babies were robust and perfect, thank you very much. You take as many jabs as you want while your baby is in your body.
I would never advise pregnant women to take a vaccine. But you go ahead and try to sell that nonsense if that’s your thing.
“Well, nothing happened to me when I didn’t protect myself, therefore nothing will ever happen to anyone who takes the same risks” is not a sound argument.
The thing is that babies do die of infectious disease all the time. Just because you were lucky (or everyone around you was vaccinated) does not mean that everyone else would be so lucky.
Women used to have lots of kids in the hope that a couple would actually survive to adulthood. Vaccines changed all of that. Because of vaccines, most kids today grow up.
I am a medical researcher, and my focus happens to be public health. If you post nonsense from anti-vax sites and I see it, I *will* post factual information in order to inform people about the truth. Unlike the bilge copied from anti-vax sites, everything I post is documented with actual published medical research.
Refusing to take vaccines or to vaccinate your kids because the fact that every other kid is vaccinated decreases the chance that your kids will be exposed to a deadly disease is no different than living off the dole and taking advantage of people who work.
