I had it a long time ago but haven’t looked for it lately. i found it on the net and others have mentioned it too. I remember it was in 2011 so will see if I can find it again.
Weird, because in the past Trump’s interest in Cruz’s citizenship has been related to how well he does in the polls.
This isn’t the first time the qualifications of a candidate have come into question. George Romney, the father of Mitt Romney who ran for president as a Republican in 1968, was born in Mexico.
Barry Goldwater, the 1964 GOP presidential nominee, was born in Arizona before it was a state.
Neither candidate’s campaign was derailed by citizenship challenges.
More recently, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., faced questions about his eligibility because he was born in the Panama Canal Zone while his father was stationed there.
Interestingly, McCain’s potential Democratic opponents — Obama and then-Sen. Hillary Clinton — co-sponsored a Senate measure to settle McCain’s eligibility..... The April 2008 resolution said, “John Sidney McCain, III, is a ‘natural born Citizen’ under Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution of the United States.”..... It passed unanimously.
The resolution was actually unlawful. Congress can only declare “NATURALIZATION” parameters. It CANNOT change the DISTINCT WORDING of the constitution. Of course it is not the first time unlawful acts have taken place which weaken the constitution WHICH IS THE OBJECTIVE.
But then, John McCain was supposed to be this big war hero.

Trump knocks Cruz out before it matters! Hopefully Cruz hangs on to his Senate seat. It would be a bummer if it goes to a Democrat!

What is Trump? Mr. nice guy?? Man who tried to bull doze and old ladies house.. Ya know I worked for Boeing for 32 years and Boeing wanted some property to build a parking lot.. These two elder ladies didn’t want to sell so Boeing offered to buy their homes at fair market value and allowed them to live there rent free until they passed away.. Here they were 2 different houses with yards in the middle of a parking lot.I thought that was a class act.. What Trump did wasn’t!!
He is right. Trump DOES have standing to sue Cruz.. But it has already been settled!! By the Illinois Election board!!

The Illinois board didn’t settle anything but avoided the issue in their purview.
