I agree about the WMD—they were moved to IRaq in the six month run up to the war. And GW Bush never said a word and took the arrows.

I do not know why, not privy to the intel he received.

I can only speculate what went on in his brain.

The material was moved, and perhaps going for it would have been a whole lotta extra moves he was not ready to commit to.
