Good news... maybe. Judge Napolitano just said that the only way anything gets to the Senate floor is if McConnell puts it there. It’s entirely his decision. So he could set any nomination aside for as long as he wants.
If that’s true, and Judge Napolitano is usually right, we don’t need to count on, and hope for, the whole Senate to do the right thing. Best thing is for McConnell to do the right thing, sit on any nomination for a year, and then put it in front of the Senate.
