His people will be peeling off in the not so distant future.

You couldn't be more wrong.

A large number of conservatives that believe in limited govt and are pro-life, pro-family will not cross over to support a crony capitalist phony. It's great theatre to watch a guy insult everyone and denigrate people's chracter, but it does not win elections.

He is a reclaimed Reagan conservative as of 2011. From that point his actions say his conversion was sincere and growth has happened.

Now, Cruz says he didn’t know he had Canadian citizenship.

He is a super lawyer, a famous solicitor, a Harvard phenomenon, a man pondering a presidential run, AND he had his Canadian birth certificate in hand.

Before he even announced that he’d discovered he had Canadian citizenship, I discovered it with 2 hours of googling.

Do YOU buy that a super lawyer like him didn’t know that?

Well, it played pretty well in Iowa and very well in NH. Appears to be playing well in SC, NV and FL, for now.

Did it ever occur to you that in those big crowds in Louisiana, South Carolina, Alabama that Trump is drawing are a large number of conservatives? They’re tired of being lied to by Republicans of all stripes, and seeing no pushback against the left. To them Cruz is just another GOP politician. There are great divisions in the party, but I blame that more on the selling out done by Boehner, McConnell, and Ryan than anyone else. A big portion of the party has had enough with elected Republicans, and that hurts Cruz in a big way in this primary season. That’s the reality today.

BTW, your vote is your vote. I’ve always believed a man’s vote is for whom he casts it. Not casting it at all I consider to be sinful. (Really) But, 3rd party of some kind, then I’m okay with that.

I see Trump as far better than Romney, McCain, and Dole who lost for us big time. I would find it hard to walk on Trump if I did not walk on those.

What if Carson is VP?

We’re in the FL panhandle, and know many conservative Christians.

Months ago, many expressed support for Carson. When it became more clear to them that he admitted some youthful mental challenges, they stopped supporting him. But here’s the thing: NONE of them ever expressed support for Cruz.

This seems odd because they are Christians and he professes Christianity. Whether they simply just don’t like him, or question his character, I don’t know because they never mention his name as a candidate they might consider.

After the damage B. Obama has done, many of us are not looking for the perfect candidate and not for Mr. Nice Guy but for somebody who puts America first and attacks PC and the invasion of this country.

Russia is not accepting Syrian immigrants, and Saudi Arabia is not accepting their fellow Muslims. Why should we accept these undesirables who hate us? I want somebody who says NO to ISIS's secret weapon.
