I haven’t attacked Trump supporters, but the tactics being used by some Trump supporters, attacking Cruz and his supporters for their Christian values, is very off putting. I actually considered Trump for awhile, and then I came to the conclusion that he cannot be trusted and that Ted Cruz is a much better candidate for the general (and I my conclusion had nothing to do with Ted’s Christianity either). At this point, many Trump supporters here on FR and other sites have me so turned off to his candidacy that I may not even vote for Trump in the general now against Hillary. The way they attack conservatism, just like a progressive, is very off putting to me. With Trump as the candidate, the real problem is being ignored—large, far-reaching all powerful, centralized government DOES NOT WORK, and is unAmerican! It is smothering what made American great in the first place. How can Trump make America great again when he hasn’t even identified the problem?

Pot. Kettle. Black. X2
I don’t make fun of anyone’s Christian religion. That is between them and God. You must have missed the countless attacks on Trump’s religion which is also between he and God.
I can move beyond Cruz father anointing him a king as I am voting for a president. I have a Savior. My opposition to Cruz relates to his votes for Coker and TPA and those he is financially beholding to like GS, Mercer the tax cheat, and Glenn Beck. His actions concern me.
Absolutely right. Trump is no different than Romney. A “tinker around the edges” “fix it” guy who thinks government just has to be “run better” by “smart people.” I thought Trump was an interesting candidate last year too. He’s a great campaigner. Unfortunately it takes a fair amount of listening to his speeches and interviews before it becomes clear he is a substance-free candidate full of hype, hot air and no understanding of what the conservative movement is, why it exists and why it’s the only antidote to the country’s problems. Trump isn’t proposing any true reforms that will make a damn bit of difference. It’s the same slightly slower march to socialist collapse that Myth Romneycare offered.
