After your “It’s more funny listening to the pure as the snow Cruz fans “ comment it’s easy to see how some people might feel your Cruz hate comes from a resentment of Christians.

“it’s easy to see how some people might feel your Cruz hate comes from a resentment of Christians.”

Well it may be “easy”, but it isnt the truth. I dont like imperfect people using fake perfection they’ve anointed themselves with to deride others, only to then fall back onto “nobody’s perfect”, when they are found wanting.

“So you haven’t noticed that Ted is presenting himself as the most Christian as well as the most consistent Conservative in the race?”

I have been pointing out repeatedly that he is the most consistent conservative in the race because he IS. This is more than just an opinion. Look at every conservative organization that does ratings of candidates and take a look for yourself. Unless you want to rewrite what conservative means, Cruz has the consistent track record.

As far as Christian goes, I have not heard him denigrate anyone else’s faith. I have heard Trump question how an Evangelical could come out of Cuba (though it was Cruz’s father who came from Cuba), and also question Carson’s faith. I have heard Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee criticize Cruz on his religion. I have heard Carson’s staff criticize Cruz on religion. I have not heard any attacks on Cruz’s faith by the Rubio camp.

Rubio made a really big show of his faith before Iowa and also seems to be trying to straddle the fence between protestant and Catholic. That seems to be working for him since many Catholics and some non-evangelical protestants see evangelicalism as some sort of conspiracy. Evangelical Christianity makes up the largest percentage of Christianity in this nation (based on self-identification). It’s slightly higher than the percentage who identify as Catholic. (Rubio identifies as both.)

I find it ironic that you try to justify your attacks on Cruz based on the Bible while at the same time calling him “holier than thou”. You cite things like the Carson rumor in Iowa and describe it as “bearing false witness” which it was not, and that makes your accusation “bearing false witness” by your own standard.

And this is typical of a person who is blinded by their own religious biases and self-righteous condemnation of those they perceive as doing the very things they themselves do. Christ’s enemies were very religious and knew the Bible too. And they put aside their differences to work together to murder Jesus.

A lot of supposed Bible-reading, conservative Christians on this forum have been quick to side with those who hate Cruz which includes radical, leftwing socialists and communists, the phony GOPe pretending to be conservative when it helps keep them in power but doing nothing when it really counts, Planned Parenthood which, along with NARAL give Cruz the worst possible rating (0%). But sure, go ahead and proclaim loudly how you read your Bible, how Cruz is a phony Christian, and help the hail-Satan left destroy the most pro-life and conservative candidate in the race. I wonder if your father will be proud of you.

It appears that for you it comes down to supporting the candidate that sounds as if they are “the most pro-life and conservative candidate in the race”. So you don’t want to look at any of the tell-tale signs that that candidate might be deceiving you about anything. Enjoy the rest of the campaign, read your Bible, and pray.

“read your Bible, and pray”

I will and do. While making this to do list, let me suggest to also “do and speak” accordingly, because their are some who read the Bible and pray, and still seem to align themselves with the enemies of God and God’s people.

“It appears that for you it comes down to supporting the candidate that sounds as if they are ‘the most pro-life and conservative candidate in the race’.”

As opposed to whom? Hillary? Trump?

Who do you think is more pro-life than Cruz?

Yeb Bush claims he is. Don’t know if he was standing on his tip toes when he said it. I do know that Terri Schiavo was unavailable for comment.

Do you trust Rubio? He has proven he is willing to break his promises. Which promises did Cruz break?

Is the 100% conservative rating Cruz gets from most conservative and pro-life organizations one of your “tell-tale signs”? Or maybe its his 0% NARAL rating?

Was it his attempts to defund Planned Parenthood? Was it his promise to oppose abortion as well as federal funding of abortion?

The only tell-tale signs I am seeing here is when people on this forum spout their Bible knowledge as a basis for taking sides with the Dems and other hail-Satan lefties, the GOPe, NARAL and Planned Parenthood, and many other enemies of Christianity and conservatism.

Which side are you on?

Make an argument about the issues

That’s a reasonable standard.

Libertarians gope and dems do use personal attacks as a methodology against conservative Christian candidates.

I’m not infused about this and I’m not playing the passivity cheek turning game that too many want to plan.

These attacks are illegitimate

Thank you for confirming my analysis of your position. Were we differ is that you obviously think there is still hope for the nation that has killed 55 million babies, and I think that YHWH is done with the United States of America.

We have been under judgement ever since the 1962 School Prayer ruling. The first official Muslim Brotherhood front organization founded in the U.S. was the Muslim Students Association (MSA), established on the Urbana-Champaign campus of the University of Illinois in 1964. The Muslim Brotherhood is a type of the Assyrian that YHWH used to bring judgement on the 10 tribes that made up Israel. Al Qaeda is an off-shoot of the Muslim Brotherhood. Their 9/11 attack was a perfect fulfillment of Isaiah 9:8-13.

Since the 1973 Roe v. Wade things have really gotten worse. Since then we have never won a war, before then we never lost one. With Obama we finally got Isaiah 3:4-5 “I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. The people will be oppressed, everyone by another and every one by his neighbor; The child will be insolent toward the elder and the base to the honorable.”

All this moral decay was initiated by Judges, just as the moral decay in Sodom and Gomorrah was, according to the Jewish sages, initiated by Judges. That puts us as “in the days of Lot” (Luke 17:28-37). The “great sign in the heavens” from Revelation 12:1-2 actually occurs on September 23-24, 2017. See the image at: http://i.ytimg.com/vi/_1y_hLqVXf4/maxresdefault.jpg

So Ted Cruz is “in this race to show this country the face of the God that we serve”, as his wife has stated, which is part of the Dominion Heresy (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominion_Theology), that believes that Conservative Christians need to take control of the secular government and rule over the non-Christians, for the good of all, of course.

Now if you believe that anything that we, as humans, can do will change the judgement to come, the you are not paying attention. But you are paying attention, so now you know why it is not a good idea to support Ted Cruz.

As for Donald Trump, I view him as a type of Samson, whom YHWH raised up to bring down the Temple of Dagon on the Philistines. Read Judges 13-16 and then look at the characteristics Donald Trump shares with Samson: Doesn’t drink, ever; has really wild hair; is really harsh if you treat him badly or unfairly; ran around with a lot of foreign women.

Now look at Donald Trump’s slogan: “Make America Great Again”. Alexis de Tocqueville said: “America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.” Donald Trump knows that in a country overrun with Philistines one can not campaign on “Make America Good Again”. However, if you look at what he says he will do, how offended he is by people lying about him, how offended he is with dirty tricks, how he hates the corruption in American government, etc. you know that he is trying to do is make America good again. So Donald Trump is bringing people out of the shadows, so to speak, and giving them hope that things can be better. This puts them out in the world where the Holy Spirit can bring believers into contact with those who are to be saved. So that is the spiritual aspect of the Trump campaign.

On the Bible Prophecy side, how is YHWH going to convince the Iranians that 2017 would be about the last time they, with their allies, can wipe out the United States and attack Israel to wipe it off the map?

How about we elect Donald Trump and he starts to make the American Military so strong that no one will want to mess with us? How about if he starts to root out the Muslim Brotherhood infiltration of the Government? In fact, the threat of having Donald Trump in the Whitehouse may well trigger the attack that is described in Ezekiel 38:10-13, which YHWH does not stop, so that the attack in Ezekiel 38:14-23, which YHWH will stop can take place. Then the End will come.

When the world gets to these critical points, there isn’t anything one can do to change the course set by YHWH for the world. It is much easier if you focus on that narrow way YHWH has for you to do as your part in His magnificent Word.

I was really expecting a typical response to reproof as most people get all offended and start making personal attacks when they are told they are wrong about something.

I appreciate that instead of that you made your case.

And even more surprisingly I found myself agreeing with a lot of what you said.

If you look at my tag line (which I have had since June of last year) you will see that I do not think it is possible for the US to survive as a nation.

However, I have to disagree with you about some things.

“which is part of the Dominion Heresy”

First, I have never heard of anyone who is a self-described dominionist. And the term does not originate with theologians who were trying to correct a heresy. It originated as a sort of marketing term to paint right-leaning Christians as part of a massive conspiracy.

Further, if you go back and look at the Protestant work ethic and the beliefs of many of the founders about work, property, freedom, money, democracy, and faith, you would probably encounter a lot of views that could easily be described by liberals as “dominionism”. But false doctrine is not what the enemies of Christ and of Christians say it is. It is what God says it is.

The reason I prefer Cruz is not because I have studied his theology and become convinced it is the most Biblical. I have studied his voting record and promises and actions and decided he acts, thinks, and talks like a true conservative. Does he make mistakes? Yes. But he is not some random, unpredictable, fly-by-the-seat-of-his-pants politician who blows with the wind. He is a known quantity.

Inasmuch as others are predictable, they are predictably bad.

However, I do like your assessment of Trump. But Trump cannot be a Samson-like judge of our enemies as long as he follows the wickedness that has brought our nation to judgment. Remember that Samson was defeated because he did not keep his Nazarite vows and also because of his womanizing.

“The ‘great sign in the heavens’ from Revelation 12:1-2 actually occurs on September 23-24, 2017.”

I highly doubt that. That particular sign appears to occur in the very middle of Daniel’s seventieth week. At that time the abomination of desolation will occur in the temple (and cause the daily sacrifice to cease), and Satan will be cast down to the earth. The implication is that there would have already been a secret 7-year-treaty signing, the temple will have to be rebuilt by that time, and the daily sacrifice will have to be restored.

While I think you are on the right track with the feast of trumpets being the next divine appointment to be fulfilled prophetically (by the return of Christ), the particular sign in Heaven is not what heralds His return. The signs that will signify the imminency of His return are the Sun being turned to darkness and the moon to blood.

However, it is likely that NASA is unable to predict these signs because the scriptures say that the “powers of Heaven will be shaken”. There will most likely be a disruption in the natural order of the celestial bodies.

The passage seems to imply that the sun being turned to darkness and moon into blood occur simultaneously. But a solar and lunar eclipse cannot happen at the same time. The closest they can come is about two weeks. This is not particularly spectacular except for perhaps their falling on feast days.

If, however, the two elements of this sign happen simultaneously, it will be a spectacularly huge event. And shouldn’t be if it immediately precedes and announces the return of Christ? This could happen supernaturally or it could be that some other very large celestial body comes between the earth and sun. There is a record of such an object seen down through the ages which has been named the Red Dragon. Interestingly some claim it will be returning just a couple of weeks after the date you mentioned.

Now back to Cruz. There is a lot of Satanic opposition to Christians being in positions of authority. It does not take much effort to see the attempts to undermine Christians in the public arena. This is why people like Cruz and Palin become much more viciously attacked than other politicians who are merely conservative. But what is God’s will? The opposite of what Satan and his followers want.

We are told to pray especially for the salvation of our governmental leaders. Does it not stand to reason that if we have opportunity (like Paul using his Roman citizenship, or his instruction to be made free of slavery if the opportunity comes) to elect leaders who are already Christians, we should do so?

Right, it’s a non-issue. But what I’m saying is that someone running a presidential campaign, who counts on other people that he delegates to do these things for him, how can he know every freaking detail? You can’t. It would drive a person crazy! It’s just a minor slip-up that’s not his fault.

Well if they can’t be trusted with delegated authority Cruz should replace them; however, this isn’t a lapse of vetting. The personal life choices of the actress is irrelevant. The Cruz team paid an ad agency to create an ad with message x. The ad agency did exactly that.

Right, okay, good... but can you admit to me that Cruz cannot know every little single detail of his campaign.

People make it sound like he PERSONALLY hired this actress for this ad. I mean... come on!

Cruz should be aware of every campaign detail. The actress issue is not a campaign detail, which is why it is irrelevant.
