All signs point to a general election matchup between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton â despite the stunning New Hampshire win for Democratic presidential contender Sen. Bernie Sanders and the deep pockets of establishment GOP campaigners, according to one pollster.
"Forget the day-after hoopla," Fran Coombs, the managing editor of Rasmussen Reports, writes Wednesday.
"It's still looking like Trump vs. Clinton this November."
Trump's firm hold on the GOP primary will be tough to topple as he continues to capitalize on voter anger with the establishment, Coombs writes.
"Considering that 87 percent of Republicans and 67 percent of all voters are angry at the current policies of the federal government, that seems to be shaping up as pretty good campaign strategy," she writes.

Oh, HELL no!
Don’t dismiss the joyful turtle. His strategy to come from behind slowly is as well thought out as his strategy to embrace illegal aliens who come here and break our laws as “an act of love”. Voters like losers even more than they like traitors, so Jeb makes a good combination.
Two states amounting to 1% of all delegates and it’s over?
Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaa may good Lord, trump worshipers are daft,
It may be Trump vs ????
Could be Cruz vs ???
At this point, it’s too early to tell.
Killery could yet be indicted, but not likely.
Sanders could have a stroke, or some other accident.
For now, were I a betting man, I would put Trump as the likely winner. Likely, is not the same as inevitable. After one caucus, and one OPEN primary, it is difficult to say anything with a high degree of certainty.
South Carolina is also and OPEN primary. Super Tuesday is also suspect as 11 of the 15 primaries are Open or mixed...Thus not being dependable sentiment among the party faithful. The closed primaries don’t start until March 5th.
After that we can start to draw some reasonable conclusions.
Enough with the push polls already Establishment LSM.
Donald will literally tear her apart.
Its going to be delightful watching Trump give Killary the Rosie ODonnell ghetto beatdown. LOL!
Yeah, who knew. I think it's going to shake out something like this:
I personally think Trump will take all except seven states, WA, MN, CA, NM, MA, VT and HI. If they call New York early for Trump, it's all over and may even affect states out west.
Except No Clinton. She will be dashed on the shores of criminal actions - too many dead people surrounding this wicked witch
She’s wildly unpopular and he’s fairly unpopular but okay.
He is about finished and he could be in for a surprised if FL goes to Rubio.
I never understood that Minnesota thing with Democrats.
Its going to be delightful watching Trump give Killary the Rosie ODonnell ghetto beatdown. LOL!

Well, that’s true, but she should have been in jail for dix months by then.
Lots of Scandanavians, the Twin Cities (liberal), rural farm democrats and northeast MN Iron (old union area) and Indian country.
Found these: Why is Minnesota so Democratic?

Thanks, Art in Idaho.
I always try to post the Rasmussen Reports Trump Change poll on Friday morning.
I am thoroughly fed up with Cruzbots. Eleanor Darragh, Teds mom, was married and divorced from her English husband before she emigrated to Canada. She was a British subject and as such could quickly acquire Canadian citizenship.
Ted Cruz was born in 1970 and dual citizenship in Canada was not even recognized until 1976. Both his parents had Canadian citizenship. There was no reason to register his birth with a U.S. consulate because the whole family was Canadian.
He has no business in running for President and should be kicked out of the Senate because he is not a U.S. citizen. That actually occurred twice in the 1800s.

Ted Cruz did not renounce his Canadian citizenship until 2014. All FOIA requests have been denied requesting a copy of a CRBA and he has not released it or any other naturalization papers.
There is currently no proof available to show he ever became a US citizen.

Thanks, Satin Doll. He knows he isn't eligible; this is a kabuki dance to elect Yeb.
