So how do these US companies, who move to Mexico, deal with the cartels and corruption?

It's not as bad as you might think outside of Mexico City. Don't get me wrong, it is out there. But the stereo type is overblown in the major manufacturing cities.

I have to say that I don't know about it personally, so you are probably right. I'm judging it by the news and conversations with people who have family still living there who say THEY don't go back like they used to.
