Actually, if Ann is being used as a "voice to be listened to" when she calls Cruz a "sleazy liar", then Ann IS part of the discussion as to what her motivations are. She has jumped on the Trump bandwagon because he validates who she is, so I don't give her comments much credence. We'll see if she "stays with the biker" if he doesn't get the Republican nomination, won't we?
About Cruz's comment? Nope, I don't think he's that far off when I've already called attention to the liberals use of certain propaganda like "Republicans want people to die" to moralize their taking over the health industry. Red flag for me is when Trump uses similar sounding terminology: "What I do say is, there will be a certain number of people that will be on the street dying and as a Republican, I don't want that to happen. We're going to take care of people that are dying on the street, because there will be a group of people that are not going to be able to even think in terms of private or anything else and we're going to take care of those people."
Another red flag to me is when Trump makes blanket statements that "everybody's going to be covered"
Guess who the "we" is that will pick up the tab to cover "everybody" or "people dying in the streets"? Trump isn't planning to pay for it out of his own pocket, it's "the Government" (our tax dollars) that is going to pick up the tab. Add all of the above to Trumps previous admiration of Scotland and Canada's healthcare systems and his 60 minutes interview...I don't think Cruz is out of line at all.
“Guess who the “we” is that will pick up the tab to cover “everybody” or “people dying in the streets”?”
The rest of us are already paying for them.
Missing from your post is the fact Trump clearly advocates private, competitive HC insurance like what we had before the ACA. Don’t forget that.
