Exactly.
We are in SNAFU.
I got $20 says I’m right.
Exactly what I was thinking.
In order for us to start the house cleaning of the DC political class we need to start at the top
Oh puuuuleeeez
He also campaigned for and donated to Ronald Reagan. Twice
In Iowa Caucuses and Maybe Texas.... that’s not a formula for a win there Cruz.
Cruz wants the establishment to back him because without the establishment voters he can’t beat Trump in the primary... So the fact the’s trying to woo them isn’t surprising, but it also means that to get it, he’s going to basically become the establishment candidate, whether he publicly admits it or not.
Trump could just as easily end Cruz by becoming the establishment candidate as well... Somehow though I think Trump will wind up beating Cruz without signing up for all that baggage.
dead,
While I appreciate your explanation and your tone.....very much
...I take exception to your wholesale lable put on Trump supporters
Most Trump supporters posts I have read here at FR and responded to ....
....are sharp, articulate, and reasonable
......folks who have thought through their support of Trump.....
.....nothing knee jerk or celebrity worshipping about them.
Have a heart dead...
Look at those long lines waiting hours to hear/ see Trump
Look at the people.......NOT rock star groupies....
.....they look like earnest family types, some with babies and children
Yes, Trump has hit a nerve
As he said, if our unemployment was only 5% he wouldn’t be garnering the huge crowds, long lines, filled to capacity venues
People are desperate for JOBS....
They have families to feed....Trump has a long held track record of producing jobs for people ....of building quality products.....of delivering what he says!!!
They are giving their trust one more time.......because they innately know this is our last chance.
Hopefully the clown won’t even win the nomination, so we’ll never have to find out.
“Trump is interested in free market approaches...”
LOL! Thanks for that laugh!
“...decreasing Government bureaucracy.”
Yes! The laugh train rolls on!
Let me preempt the reply where you show you don’t know what Trump really stands for...
Donald Trump: Thereâs many different ways, by the way. Everybodyâs got to be covered. This is an un-Republican thing for me to say because a lot of times they say, âNo, no, the lower 25 percent that canât afford private. Butââ
Scott Pelley: Universal health care.
Donald Trump: I am going to take care of everybody. I donât care if it costs me votes or not. Everybodyâs going to be taken care of much better than theyâre taken care of now.
Scott Pelley: The uninsured person is going to be taken care of. How? How?
Donald Trump: Theyâre going to be taken care of. I would make a deal with existing hospitals to take care of people. And, you know what, if this is probablyâ
Scott Pelley: Make a deal? Who pays for it?
Donald Trump: âthe governmentâs gonna pay for it.
Oh, yeah. Free market solutions and reducing government bureaucracy - CHECK.
Know your candidate.
I do and I’m very familiar with that quote...in the full context.
There is no issue. We used to have charity care, Hilary Clinton torpedoed it with her healthcare plan because the insurances realized the hospitals were subsidizing their charity patients from the insurance payments. Then we had medicaid. Now its a mess.
Trump is saying that the small % of Americans that are indigents won’t be allowed to fall through the cracks. He is resisting the temptation to paint a black white picture and saying that as a country we neither let people starve to death nor do we let them die outside our ER doors because they can’t pay. That is honest and not something that is outside the American norm. We need to get Americans working and healthcare more affordable and that % will shrink.
At the same time he is clearly saying that is a separate system and that the main system with the vast majority of Americans will be free market with competition across state lines and HSA’s. He is also saying that even the medicaid patients will get better cheaper care by enhancing competition between providers and cutting out the bureaucracy. He is commiting that the VA will need to get with the program because the Vets will be able to use their insurance anywhere Medicare is accepted and if the VA doesn’t deliver quality and timely care they will be left out.
Really? Do you need me to go back and find more, about any number of subjects? Because it’s really not worth my time.
Trump is NOT a “government is the problem” kind of person. If you don’t see that by now, there is no chance you’ll ever see it until you get betrayed.
