The following speech was given at an event organized by Riposte Laïque in the wake of recent events in Calais. After being introduced by Pierre Cassen, a lifelong resident of Calais named Simone gives an eloquent and impassioned description of the catastrophic situation in Calais, and the daily horrors that she and other townspeople have to endure at the hands of the “refugees”.

Hitler did conquer France, Belgium, Denmark, Norway,and the Netherlands. Spain was ruled by a dictator friendly to Germany and Italy. Portugal was neutral, as were Ireland, Switzerland, and Sweden. The only Western European nation that was hostile was Britain. But the Luftwaffe was defeated in the Battle of Britain, and the German navy could not have withstood British naval might. Therefore, an invasion of Britain was never undertaken.

That’s right. England won the Battle of Britain. All Germany could do was lob V-1 and V-2 missiles.

Where Adolf erred was in not recognizing very early on the value of submarine warfare and producing many more subs than they did. He could have, and almost did, strangle US shipping to England, starving them into submission. The Brits were helped by Ultra, but couldn’t use it routinely due to the risk of alerting Germany that the codes were broken.

This is the future Obama has in mind for all of us.

Can’t see someone who doesn’t want to be saved because they’ll just wind up in the same spot again. Like forcing rehab on a drug addict who doesn’t want to quit doing drugs. They may eventually ask for our help but until they (and we!) give up on this idea of multiculturalism, we might as well not bother.
