The caucus is by its very nature a corrupt and not very good system. It worked best for Cruz's ground game, but Cruz couldn't replicate it to win even the "very conservative" vote in New Hampshire, where the primary system strips many of the advantages of Cruz's tactics.

You’re again trying to turn a small northeastern blue state into some sort of bastion of conservative voters while further trying mislead by acting as if it is representative of South Carolina or other Super Tuesday primaries. Furthermore, you’re bizarre allegations about the complexities of Iowa that you never identify that are not present in NH (nor explained) can be easily explained by the above. Closed republican primaries in red states are far different. As for Cruz tactics, its called a ground game, voter connection, and good ole fashioned campaign stops as opposed to the media circus falling over themselves to catch the next Trump controversy. We’ll have our vote hand excuse me if I turn down the coronation process.
