He may be the best conservative, but
Is he electable in the general? - iffy
****************************************
My personal opinion on electable in the general is no, sad as I am to say that. He will be demonized and ‘Palinized’ from the get-go.
No one is ever going to "Palinize" Cruz. Palin was "Palinized" because she didn't do her homework, could not speak off the cuff, and came off as not too bright. I said the same things back in 2008.
Cruz is a brilliant debater and one of the finest legal minds in the country. MSM doesn't even try to paint him as stupid. They have surrendered without a fight. All the left has to critizize him with is he is "mean" and doesn't get along with the Washington Cartel types. Trump, to his everlasting shame, copied that approach from the left wingers and tried to destroy a good conservative.
Trump, on the other hand, will be savaged by the MSM if he gets the nomination. He's going to be "Romneyized" only ten times worse, because Romney, for all his faults, at least was a gentleman.
If this is a Revolution Election then Sanders, Trump, or Cruz will win.
People here say Cruz cannot win the general election if he prevails over Trump.
All I can say is that if America elects a self-avowed socialist who went to Moscow for his honeymoon, then this country is doomed.
I do not think Hillary will get the democrat nomination if it’s a fair election. Nor could she win the general. The country is just tired of her.
