I never got what her political appeal is. Her genitalia? A lot of these candidates run for Vice President if they are not selling books. With Clinton running she figured she would be seen as a viable candidate for VP to narrow the gender gap. Same reason Rubio is running - to be seen as a VP candidate to make the ticket appeal to Hispanics.
