We have an entire generation that looks to Steven Colbert to give them their daily news ("The Daily Show") and now on Late Night pretending to be a serious news-like personality.
Trust me on this: There's a whole generation of stupid voters out there that views this kinda stuff, takes it seriously, and votes based on it.
Ironically, Colbert is an even bigger @ss/joke than Stewart was. And yes, our dumbed down masses actually took The Daily Show as their preferred gospel-like news source. We have already reached Idiocracy critical mass, IOW.
