Well, if someone does beat Trump, I hope it is Cruz.
And what does that have to do with him running the worst of all of the leading Republican candidates? He’s rich, but a lot of people don’t like him. If income were the standard, why not make Warren Buffet or Tim Cook President? I wouldn’t want either of them, either.
3rd place is the new 1st place.
No, IA just shows that if someone spends a year camping out in IA, and spending tons of money there, he can beat someone who didn’t spend a lot of time or money there.
You’re not going to be the Republican nominee, Ted, apparently God is choosing someone else.
“If I recall correctly, 65% of NH voters did not vote for Trump!”
Using that logic how many did not vote for Cruz??
This is the Texas Tribune, a far left rag out of Austin.
Or, maybe IA isnt as liberal as NH. The declared socialist didn’t do near as well in IA as he did in NH. And the republican front-runner did much better in that liberal environment than the conservative in the race did.
Romney - another ‘new england republican’ - took almost 40% in NH.
Doesn’t look promising for the republicans in November...
Whatever happens the Uniparty will win.

Interesting poll but completely irrelevant for the general election, when 2 opposing candidates stand side by side.
A candidate’s persona is just as important as policy in attracting voters.
Cruz’s persona is gonna make him look like a (pardon the term), smart ass lawyer telling an old grandma she’s wrong, and not only has her life’s work been a waste of time but harmful to children. (All true of course). But he just doesn’t have the persona to pull it off and draw in more than just pure conservative voters, which he will need to win the general election, demographics tell us this. Sadly, Clinton by a landslide.
I just want someone to beat the democrats.
The truth is that we want the last two standing to be Trump and Cruz.
Jeb, Kasich, or Rubio is a non-starter.
Jeb needs to be defeated once and for all. The best way to do it is for Trump or Cruz to find a way to take his supporters.
The problem I saw from New Hampshire’s numbers, is that the establishment candidates totaled about 45%. If we have Trump, Cruz, and one establishment candidate, the establishment wins. We need at least two establishment candidates to stay in long enough to split their delegates.
If it comes down to Trump, Cruz, and one establishment candidate â for the good of the country it would be nice if Trump and Cruz come to an agreement and work together. My plan is that Cruz drops out, but Trump picks him up as his vice president and announced it immediately so that the delegates go to them.
I see logic and facts are not your friend...so sorry for you and your cohort!
One promises, the other delivers.
That was AMAZING !
You’re truly suffering, quite badly, from TDS and fantasies.
Edwards are also called “TED”.
You have absolutely NO idea how much money Trump has or doesn't have.
Yes, he really is very, very good when he is a the table with them. I really think he could sit down and convert a protester. ;-)
Nope...the original NEOCONS were Jewish and STALINIST or TROTSKYITES, when they were in college ( many of them went to the same school in Manhattan ) and one day, many years later, the scales feel from their collective eyes and they became CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS.
