“Their severance package was made conditional on their training their replacements.”

Then they were paid to do it. It’s like “here, we’ll even
pay you to cut your own throat” and they took the money and did it. The spineless commies have nothing to gripe about.
They voted for it, they got it, and now it seems they are
really getting it. And, will learn absolutely nothing from it.

The sad part is that those tards are going to migrate along
with their ideology and ignorance and do it all over again.

There is no ‘Justice Department’ until Lynch leaves... she doesn’t care about all Americans... she plays favorites...

The globalist cabal poured big money into a Republic-con agenda that falsely hoodwinked average conservatives into what became the mantra of global corporatism. We allowed those $%@#$%ers to sell us a bill of goods that what was good for GE Global was good for conservatism and America. It turned out it was good only for a handful of CEOs and bankers while it was bad for debt, the economy, security and sovereignty.

On the other side of the political coin they rigged the Democrats into believing open borders and illegal immigration and sanctuary cities were a liberal cause.....when all it did was make Americans poorer and benefited the cheap labor lobby. There would be no need for minimum wage if American citizens had the right to compete only with legal labor, instead of illegals.

Trump was the wake-up call on immigration and so called free trade that the D/R establishment fears.

I’m a strong fiscal conservative, but not a blind Kool Aid sipper of any beliefs or Party. I often concurred with what Ventura had to say because there was an element of common sense to it that most pols never could grasp. It’s probably because so many pols are wholly owned and controlled hacks who worship group think.

Neither Party serves the middle and working class of America.

On this issue we need to get any help we can from any party or any person.

H-1B kill it.

The H-1B bill needs to be repealed and replaced with something that takes the possibility of abuse out of it.

Fixed it for ya.

Funny, I thought it was Karl Marx that coined the phrase:
One World, One People, Open Borders, Free Trade.

That’s right it was, along with a guy named Engles, it was called THE COMMUNIST MANIFESTO!!!

I am for consumption based taxes and tariffs are one form of consumption based taxes. A national sales tax is another. OTH The income tax is an anathema to freedom lovers everywhere but a staple of the Free Traitor™ diet..

You know what, you’re right. The true minimum wage is zero.

And if you can’t get people to work for you for nothing, then no work will be done, at least in the western world.

You can further your fabial socialist fantasy of exploiting third world labor and cheap illegals all you want, but the majority of western workers are going to reject it. Either you are going to pay in realistic wages, or you are going to be taxed heavily to pay welfare to the domestic workforce that you have abandoned. And you will pay, unless you want to be on the bad end of a revolution.

I don’t think that the people who frequent FR realize just how pissed off the rest of the country are with our governmemt and financial institutions. I keep hearing here how stupid the “masses” are. They may not be able to articulate it, but the know when they’re being taken for a ride.

Which takes us back to the original post. FRee traders will import H1-B workers to displace domestic employees. The only reason is the bottom line. With that being said, when do we get to replace white collar workers and executives with dirt cheap labor? Maybe the shareholders and funds managers should look in to this. You think only the low level employees are fair game for replacement?

The "minimum wage" is a leftist fiction - the real minimum wage is always zero, and "minimum wage" laws ensure that more people get a wage of zero. [...]

Every unemployed person gets the true minimum wage - and "minimum wage" laws have been shown time and again to increase unemployment. [...]

A "minimum wage" law doesn't prevent an employer from leaving a job unfilled - and another worker unemployed and making the true minimum wage of zero.

And if you can't get people to work for you for nothing, then no work will be done, at least in the western world.

You can further your fabial socialist fantasy of exploiting third world labor and cheap illegals all you want

You're missing my point about minimum wage. (I'm against mass immigration, legal or illegal, artificially depressing pay scales.)

Okay, I can see what you’re saying on that point regarding minimum wage laws.

“Secondly, I believe we should expand legal immigration, reduce the barriers, reduce the waiting periods and I’ve introduced two amendments to significantly expand legal immigration, to double the caps on legal immigration from 675,000 to 1.3 million and to increase temporary high skilled workers by 500%.” - U. S. Senator Rafael Edwardo “Ted” Cruz - 2013
