Cuban migrants seeking to enter the U.S.are overwhelming Mexican and American authorities at the sourthern border in Texas, a sign that despite President Obama’s efforts to normalize relations, there is no respite in immigration from Cuba.
Nearly 30,000 Cubans have made it to Texas this year alone, an increase of 80 percent from the previous year, reports the Washington Free Beacon.

We’re already 19 trillion in debt. We cannot afford this hoard.
We need to take care of our own first.
Our elders and veterans are suffering..our hiways and bridges are falling apart.
We cannot take care of the whole world.
This flood of Cubans needs to be stopped.
Can’t argue that point at all. 30,000 is ... odd and obviously overwhelming, especially given past inflows. I don’t quite get how/why Cubans would be coming in via that route. But for right or wrong, they are classified as legal.
