I did that as a kid!
I turned out OK
Is that for real?
IOverhead that the African nations eventually quit using DDT because the mosquitoes developed a resistance to it and it was no longer effective.
Goonies!

Rachel Carson is the biggest mass-murderer in history. Only Mao comes close, but his body count is shy by 50 million or so.
Actually, the US Supreme Court of 1973 is the greatest mass murderer of all time, with over 58,000,000 abortions so far (and counting).
Unfortunately yes.
The malaria body count attributable to the DDT ban is in the 100s of millions.
There was some couple who drank ddt every day to prove it was safe for humans.
I always wonder why the Cartel chemists who whip up illicit drugs don’t make ddt, mirex, or chlordane...
I AGREE, BRING BACK DDT. Is it also effective against the tick/lyme disease epidemic?
Thanks for the info.. Every bit adds up to benefit of some.
Until a few (3 or 4) years ago Midland Texas had the city spraying every spring. Ally, and street, . Certainly worked to diminish mosquitos.
Wonder why it fell out of fashion?
There are always a few against any program, it seems.
Not all change is good!
Diogenes could not find a liberal who cares about that.
I did the same while living in Hawaii (Aug 1961->Jun 1963). Worked fine for mosquitos. Still had roaches and centipedes.
Liberals won't let you have lead bird shot but they'll put lead in your drinking water.
Plus try to attract barn swallows or purple martins. Those guys are murder on mosquitos.
.
The premise of this article ignores a pertinent reality:
Zika is the same thing as SV40, a monkey virus that has been deliberately included in every vaccine since 1954.
Zika is a deliberately created “crisis.”
Bow to the W.H.O. and kiss your a$$ good-bye while you’re at it.
.
Where’s that graphic of small head beetlejuice?
Exactly.
I read an article several years ago about one African nation bringing back DDT because of the malaria problem.
The article talked about limited spraying and keeping it out of the human water supply.
The pilot program they ran gave it a rousing thumbs up because of the decreased deaths to malaria.
Don’t know if they ever went nationwide with it.
If it worked the UN probably paid them not to use it.
Can’t let a little thing like infant mortality rates get in the way of the agenda.
My mother who was born in 1910, rest her soul, said that when she was young bed bugs were everywhere. DDT was used all over the United States for the bed bugs and they were eliminated in the US. We are having a infestation of these critters from immigrants. DDT may help get them under control in these countries besides the mosquitos.
