“Mexico is going to pay for it through tariffs and fees”

So is Trump just going to point his finger and make that happen? Might be able to do that in the business world, but that’s not how it works in Washington.

What this country NEEDS to do is assess a higher payroll tax on illegals and non-citizens. Call it ‘the wall tax’.

Really, there should be benefits for being a citizen of a nation. Lower property taxes, lower health insurance rates, higher military pay...all kinds of ways to benefit those born here, or who have been here legally and long enough to pay their dues.

Those who are only visitors should pay higher payroll taxes, higher social security taxes, higher medicare taxes etc, even a ‘visitor-worker’ tax. Add an extra buck to the cost of getting a work visa...what ever.

I’m sure Mexico is envisioning having to actually write a check to the USA for the wall, but that’s not what the Donald has in mind, I’m sure. He’ll extract it from them one way or another.

So the republican congress wants the American Tax payers to pay for the wall?

That is a stupid way to lose the next election

“John Brown voted against making Mexico pay for the wall, instead he wanted YOU to pay for the wall, send Steve Smith to DC instead”

I think a lot of Republicrats will get primaried if they believe that obstructing the Trump administration was a good career choice....
