People might want to look at 2008 Clinton superdelegates.

The SDs may announce for Hillary early because of the Clinton smear (and worse) machine, but the whole point of SDs is that they are free to vote for someone even if they said they would vote for Hillary. A lot of them switched to Obama in 2008, and they’ll do it again to Hillary for the same reasons.
