National socialism, Soviet socialism, and various forms of communism failed spectacularly in:

Afghanistan,
Albania,
Angola,
Armenia,
Azerbaijan,
Belarus,
Benin,
Bosnia,
Bulgaria,
Cambodia,
Dem Rep. of Congo,
Croatia,
Czech Republic,
Eritrea,
Estonia,
Ethiopia,
Georgia,
East Germany,
Nazi Germany,
Herzegovina,
Hungary,
Kazakhstan,
Kyrgyzstan,
Latvia,
Lithuania,
Rep. of Macedonia,
Moldova,
Mongolia,
Montenegro,
Mozambique.
Poland,
Romania,
Russia,
Serbia,
Slovenia,
Slovakia,
Somalia,
Tajikistan,
Turkmenistan,
Ukraine,
Uzbekistan,
and Yemen.

Not even one of those countries is better off because of their experiment with socialism.

Did socialism/communism work any better in even one of the countries that are still trying it?

China,
Cuba,
Laos,
North Korea,
and Vietnam?

Nope.

It’s sad that today’s young learned so little from the tens of millions of deaths inflicted by big government liberals in a failed attempt to make socialism not even succeed but merely survive. Today’s big government liberals are no different, and they seem to be popular with a substantial minority in America. Obama has failed spectacularly, and their solution to the failures of big government? Even more government! I wonder if they’ll meet the Obama/Ayers goal of 25 million dead to impose socialism.

Did Sanders win?? I see Hillary has more delegates, so how is Sanders in a winning position??

http://www.cnn.com/election/primaries/states/nh/Dem

It is very encouraging to see that the republican side got 264000 votes and Hillary and Sanders combined got 234000.

The fact that we lowered the import tariffs and let China take so many industries and jobs from us, requires that we now provide better safety net programs to keep people from starving.

Of course the better answer is to restore the import tariffs and rebuild our industries.

But the rate of change in the economy and the potential of robotics to displace huge amounts of workers also demands better safety nets.

Safety nets are often thought of as socialist, but you can run a capitalist free enterprise economy with safety nets.

You can’t afford to do that at the same time you’re letting China take your jobs. You’ll run up a huge national debt if you try to do that. Just like we have.

And Bill Maher went on the Jimmy Kimmel and praised the guy to high heaven a nd even said he liked Hillary. Back to square one with Maher. Just another out-of-touch celebrity who isn’t affected by politician’s decisions.

It’s amazing a bolshevik won in a landslide in America. When is the Octobrist Revolution to begin? How long before we have bespeckled millenialists taking over our homes and bank accounts? Democrats vote for the criminal not the bolshevik!

What accounts for this collective historical amnesia?

1) Socialism as an open and non-taboo part of our political system basically went away after WW I when Woodrow Wilson suppressed Socialists in the name of the war effort. And if it happened before WW I, for most Americans it may as well have happened in 12 Million B.C.

2) Today's Millenial voter base has no memory of the Cold War, and hence no concept as to WHY collectivist systems are such a bad idea.

3) Large swaths of voters, watching the political establishment in action for the past 25 years, have concluded that the free market is a crock. Bailouts and goodies get shifted to the well-connected and powerful. So they have no qualms about grabbing control of the system to shift those benefits to themselves.

It depends on the motivation of the voters. I wonder how many of those who voted for Bernie, only did so because they were voting against Hillary.

The democrats better wake up ... the Democrat Party today is not the party of JFK. I cannot believe people today are actually embracing socialism. I can only blame the Education System ... it is failed us terribly.

The social, political and economic ideology of Globalism has wrapped itself around capitalism and chocked the life out of it. Globalism is not capitalism. It’s more akin to serfdom.

It’s less about socialism and more about an absolute disdain for Hillary.

She really might be the worst presidential candidate I’ve seen. Worse than Rick Perry.
