...Bernie's speech was delivered with profound sincerity and conviction, and his supporters were wildly enthusiastic. His delivery was excellent.
It was the content I found to be not just troubling, but frightening.
I've never in my life heard such unapologetic, full-throated socialism in American politics. Sanders is the real deal. He's so left-wing he practically makes Obama look like the chairman of the Republican National Committee. At least Obama felt compelled to lie about the true extent of his leftism. Sanders doesn't - and he isn't kidding around. This is damn near Clement Attlee and Fabian socialist-type stuff. True, he's not advocating nationalizing industries (yet), but he's cocksure that he can take as much of anyone else's money as he wants and spend it on just about anything. Free single-payer health care, free college, green energy, no more fossil fuels, $15 minimum wage, end "institutional racism" â Sanders sees no limits on what government can, should, and will do. And "Wall Street" will pay for it all.

Excellent observations FRiend, and it validates the words of (of all people) Gerald Ford, who said in a State of the Union address, “any government big enough to give you anything you want, is big enough to take everything away”.
Of course they were in on it. Because socialism/communism isn't about "sharing the wealth," it is about CONTROLLING THE WEALTH! It is about POWER!
The Norman Dodd interview I just posted explains this in depth. The people who headed the tax exempt foundations suspected of spreading communism were NOT founded by Jewish financiers.
Norman Dodd answered a question I had always asked when confronted with the stories of capitalists who were not only wealthy beyond the dreams of human avarice, but also supported communism.
Dodd explained that these capitalists saw communism as the means of developing a monopoly. And this makes sense - particularly in the face of the anti-monopolistic anti-trust laws which were passed in order to prevent the means of production from being concentrated in the hands of an elite few.
The tax exempt foundations have apparently replaced the former monopolies and are secretly peddling communism at the taxpayers expense.
Why isn't the IRS going after them?????
You have to realize the young people have been FILLED with propaganda through our education system they DO NOT know how any of our Freedoms have been stripped from us even since the 1970’s, they haven’t experienced the freedoms we used to have they think this is normal!!!! Our TRUE history of this nation has NEVER been taught to them, I think their history books START with MLK!!!!
Yes, he probably would love 5 year plans, too and the resulting poverty and death followed by a new 5 year plan .. ad nauseum.
>>You have to realize the young people have been FILLED with propaganda<<
I realize...boy do I realize. lol
Worth repeating.
With an aging Supreme Court, we are literally one or two justices away from a ban on weapons in this country. The socialist are salivating.
No weapons...no freedom.
He is the future unless we can close the border. The country Club GOPE Rino establishment had better listen to him and wise up. If not they will deserve to pay taxes through the yazoo and I will not feel sorry for them.
Once that horse is out of the barn, liberals and government sycophants will get their comeuppance.
First step is a national gun registry/database. If one refuses to register their firearms, you will be heavily penalized if not jailed. Then there will be an effort similar to what we saw a year or so ago. Dry up ammunition supplies. It will be piecemeal. It will begin in states with already strict gun laws.
