I've never in my life heard such unapologetic, full-throated socialism in American politics. Sanders is the real deal. He's so left-wing he practically makes Obama look like the chairman of the Republican National Committee. At least Obama felt compelled to lie about the true extent of his leftism. Sanders doesn't - and he isn't kidding around. This is damn near Clement Attlee and Fabian socialist-type stuff. True, he's not advocating nationalizing industries (yet), but he's cocksure that he can take as much of anyone else's money as he wants and spend it on just about anything. Free single-payer health care, free college, green energy, no more fossil fuels, $15 minimum wage, end "institutional racism" – Sanders sees no limits on what government can, should, and will do. And "Wall Street" will pay for it all.

It was frightening, and for a while I thought America was lost if Sander’s understanding of America becomes mainstream. They are insane, and fundamentally believe that the wealth of our nation was somehow illegally obtained, and that its illicit possession is ripe to be expropriated.
Hillary will try to outdo him but she is such a two faced hypocrite that even the Democrats can no longer stomach her.
Sanders is a true believer in that world. He cannot get elected for a variety of reasons, but his is the party of class hatred. Of literally arresting CEOs of pharmaceutical companies because they charge too much. Yeah - that will work for about 5 minutes.

I know these Brooklyn 'progressive' scum. They got together to move to a low occupancy state and did just that. Watched some of that never ending speech. First time I ever heard him speak. Scary to say the least. Even scarier are the number of supporters he has and the fact that a commie is even a viable candidate.
Not at all terrifying. I can’t wait until he wins. I can stop working and retire at 50. My kids graduating from college over the next few years won’t need to worry about finding jobs. They may as well drop out of college now since they don’t ever need to work. Since college will be free once Bernie’s elected I don’t care either way.
Anyone know of a Caribbean Island for sale? I want to retire in style. I know some of the 1% have their own island so I’m sure Bernie will help me own one too.

Biden can be dropped in after the convention too. The voters choose electors in the general, not candidates, and the electors vote for whoever the party instructs. Just picture a Biden/Hillary swap two or three weeks before the general.

I got into an argument with a Bernie supporter on Facebook. They refuse to acknowledge the ill-effects of socialism - they just think they are making things ‘better for everyone.’ They refuse to look at history, or acknowledge human nature.
Well, in many cases the Chairman of the RNC looks and acts a lot like Obama. Tit for Tat.
