I’m a Yankee. Lived in what might be considered the south (NC) for about half a year. Southern drawl is real easy to pick up, without noticing you picked it up, y’all.
Ha ha. I have same problem in FL. I have lived all over the country and picked up y’all after a few years living here in NE FL. One of my neighbors from GA asked me where I was from. She though maybe I was from GA. LOL.
My cousin was raised near where I live. She has been asked which part if the south she is from. Southern Indiana is just north of LuVull yuall!
