The only thing I found notable is that when she asked him if his language was going to change, he said that’ll happen as he gets closer to the destination.
Rush implied that “well, see. He’s gonna become more liberal if he wins.”
I don’t buy that. He might-—so could Cruz. I have thought this all along: if Trump is invited to give a prepared speech to an organization, as he is all the time, I guarantee he has prepared remarks and doesn’t insult anyone. Likewise if he was president, I seriously doubt he would make ANY off the cuff remarks that would antagonize people he didn’t want to antagonize.
For example, if you heard me teach, I am really wild, say outlandish stuff to get the students engaged, etc. But if I’m asked to give a formal talk to a group, I tailor a speech to that group, and certainly if I’m in a church I speak differently than if I’m at a (say) fraternity.
