Only two main candidates ran in the Dem primary. The last I time I looked, the Republican primary vote total got over 30,000 more votes than the Democrat primary.
Trump also beat Romney’s 2012 vote total by thousands, he beat Huckabee’s 2008 total by well over 10k.
