Fascinating that you think I’m young, and treat it as an accusation.

From that I deduce that you are 70+ and mistakenly think that you’ve gotten smarter with age. My 18 year old is vastly more intelligent that you. IQ points aren’t like tree rings.

I remember seeing Trump interviewed for the first time in about 1980, when I was a teenager. He struck me as an arrogant narcissist that would say and do anything for a little adoration. Of course back in those days, and running up to the more immediate past, he was also a political Leftist. Every exposure I’ve had to him in the subsequent 35 years has only reinforced that initial impression.

A person’s core values on abortion, taxes, open borders, etc. don’t genuinely change so late in life. Trump was either lying then or lying now. You live in the delusional world where Trump lies to everyone but you.

And you, regardless of your age, have allowed your own personal bias and dislike of Trump to distort your judgment from back when you were a bubble gum blowin' teenager, until the day you kick off for good.

There is something worse than losing one's mind (as Dan Quayle once famously said) and that is closing one's mind, and you're the poster boy for that.

Here's something for you to think about:

You have stated you have an 18 year old. Do you think it possible that at some point during your kid's teen years, that he has thought to himself "man, Dad is really an assh*le!" ? (don't delude yourself by saying 'no', most teenagers think such things of their parents at some point).

Now do you think he's capable of re-evaluating his mistaken teenage observations about you?

If so, he's more of a man than you are. You're still hating Trump decades later.

And that's sad.
