W. Rolled over every time. He couldn't or wouldn't stand up to the profligate spenders in the DC political class.
He was one of them

What a huge disappointment.
The greatest opportunity to turn the country ariund and he blew it big time.

I sometimes wonder if we night actually have been better off with Gore.

Republicans would have howled and gone into a rage if Gore proposed the things Bush did.

They would have fought Gore tooth and nail but since Bush was a republican president they just went along for the ride.

Back in 1994 grassroots Californians tried to do something about illegal immigration by passing Prop 187.

The GOP elites fought us. One of the GOPe who took the side of illegal aliens against grassroots California voters was the Governor of Texas, GW Bush.

I never forgot that and I figured he was going to be bad news when he was elected in 2000. He lived down to my expectations.
