See, that is my problem with Trump. All through his career, he has switched back and forth on many issues
You are just wrong, but lots of you make the mistake of taking something someone says in passing as stating thier position in life. It's actions, not words that make a conservative. In truth, Trump has always done the conservative thing. Trump is by far the most conservative candidate in this race in both deed and platform. Trump does not support giving obumber a free hand to decide security and trade with laws like TPA and corker bill.

Trump has given money to the Clintons. Trump has given money to liberal causes. Trump has said he supports LGBT rights. Trump has said he agrees with the Kelo decision.
Do those things mean conservative to you?
You say he is most conservative “in both deed and platform”, but there isn’t any actual evidence of that. Just rhetoric by his supporters.
During the debate Saturday night, he couldn’t even define “conservative”.
These are the types of doubts I have and your answer, full of generalities, hyperbolic statements, and loose interpretations of events, does not give me reassurance.
