I'm a Cruz supporter, and frankly, I am not too worried aout this latest attack. Cruz comes right back and reminds TRump who whipped who[m] in Iowa, and that takes up the whole media narative. Trump... Cruz ... Cruz ... Trump. No "late surge by Kasich" No "Dead Cat Bounce by John Ellis Bush" nothing even on Carly Fiorina.
The reason that I don't bothered by it as a Cruz supporter, is because that word is not in the first 100 of what comes to mind when one says Ted Cruz. Years ago, JibJab made a viral video called "This Land", where George W. Bush calls John Kerry "A U.N. p***y" (w(accompanying the picture below). Well, the first thing that comes tomind is "spot on".
You try to put either Trump or Cruz or any body other than Obama or Sanders in the picture below, and it just doesn't work. In likewise, the insult doesn't stick to Cruz, because there's no hint of truth in it.
Trump was talking about a specific point of cowardice where Cruz was wishy washy about waterboarding.
He was wishy washy with his answer, and should have stood up to the PC crowd, but he didn't want to offend anyone.
Any problems with that? I far preferred the Trump answer, what about you?
It's not much different in cowardice than what Cruz said in December about the Clinton family sex problems being off limits.
Patterns, they emerge.
