I disagreed with Cruz on this, and he has acknowledged his error and changed his position accordingly:

After his campaign BEGAN Cruz issued this statement: “There is no stronger advocate of legal immigration than I am.

At 46 minutes in an interview he makes that statement and at 49 he starts bragging about increasing H1B visas.

This is at the end of April and MONTH AFTER his campaign began.

When the outroar was taking him down, he flip flopped by having a meeting with Jeff Sessions as a PR moment.
