This is not an issue where you get to say I changed my mind. This is a moral constitution issue, you know it is wrong and fight to stop it or you are not worthy.

Cruz was looking at it from a Milton Friedman Free Market perspective originally. That's his economic philosophy start point. This policy of course, has implications well beyond macro-economics.

If we let people change their mind on abortion (inthe right direction), we can let them change their mind on this.

No, this is an economic issue. Abortion is a moral constitution issue. Only one of these two candidates has changed positions on that one.

I am a STEM worker who strongly disagreed with Cruz’s old stance, and let him know. Cruz gets the error in his old policy and has responded in his policy today.

A Trump supporter should tread lightly on critizisms of policy and political stance change. Building comparative lists between the two from 2013 to today will not bode well for your guy...
