Registering for the draft is not the same as
being drafted. Women volunteer for technical roles in all branches of the armed forces today, and are fully capable of performing those same roles
involuntarily during any future national emergency, freeing up able bodied MEN for combat roles.
I have no problem registering women for the draft. I do have a problem putting women in front line combat roles.
I have no problem registering women for the draft. I do have a problem putting women in front line combat roles. I agree with that "in a vacuum," so to speak, but we're not operating in a vacuum. The ideology that promotes women's eligibility for a draft is the same ideology that is demanding that women have military roles identical to men's.
