Cruz’s tax plan is the plan of a person who has never owned a small business. It will not lead to job creation. Its a loser. The guy is a lawyer/politician who has no clue about taxes or business. He’s a prosecutor.
Trump’s plan is much more business friendly.
Trump's tax plan is more in line with Bernie Sanders than it is with anything resembling Conservatism. Here is what he said back in August:
SEAN HANNITY: "Do you believe in supply-side economics inasmuch as you reduce taxes on everybody, including the wealthy, and that a rising tide lifts all boats?"
TRUMP: "I don't fully believe in it, but there is something to it. I don't fully, you know, I've studied it..."
HANNITY: "But you don't want a flat tax, you have said that."
TRUMP: "I don't like when everybody's paying the same."
Its a loser.
Trump's plan is much more business friendly.
Can you provide the details, reasoning, and logic behind those statements, or are they just statements?
So cutting business taxes from 35% to 16, ending capital gains taxes, etc... Not to mention a whole host of others... Is a bad thing?
In what alternate reality?
.
Cruz’ tax plan is endorsed by all of the SB associations.
It is a tremendous boon to small business.
Trumpatoons!
Has Trump ever owned a “small” business? I thought he was the expert of yuge and that small was beneath him. The big boys like high tax rates with plenty of deductions, because they can afford lobbyists to get ‘their’ deductions and accountants use them. Low tax rates without deductions remove their advantage. Low flat rates with minimal, if any, deductions favor the intrinsically more efficient business, which often is a smaller one. The big boys also like more regulations as they can spread the compliance costs more widely and gain competitive advantage. Small businesses, like mine, are being hammered by the regulations. Cruz gets this and talks about it. Why would Trump get this? He just pays off the politicians to get his way.
Trump’s plan is the status quo, leaving the giant IRS bureaucracy and making it a costly nightmare to comply with. Trump retains the progressive rates which are nothing but a socialist, class warfare tool.
