Regardless of how he fares here, Cruz will be in a strong position headed into the string of upcoming Southern primaries; a second-place or strong-third place finish could put him in a commanding one.
Cruz's biggest opening is with...

I am hopeful that Cruz will finish 2nd or a very strong 3rd.
Looks like ~Yeb! may be the surprise.
Expectations are pretty low so a third place finish would be a big victory IMHO. 6th or lower-ouch.
I think he’ll do worse than the best case projections. Let’s face it, the northeast is not really much of a Ted Cruz stronghold.
SC will be the one that people can’t really predict. That’s kind of the one I’m a bit excited for, anyway.
I think he will outperform the polls, as is his usual going all the way back to when he ran for the US Senate in Texas.
I don’t think he will do well in NH. 3rd if he’s lucky.
A poll just came out that shows Ted Cruz tied for 2nd in NH.
A solid finish and no major gaffs are what Cruz needs right now.
Well as Sununu said...
Iowa picks corn and NH picks presidents.
I’d be pleasantly shocked if he finished 2nd.
6th or lower-ouch.

if NH hands Cruz his lunch, it will destroy all his momentum going into SC........ I think he peaked last Tuesday
I hope Cruz finishes strong, but the polls are not showing it. Hope the polls are wrong!
err...... last Monday
I do think Ted will surprise in NH, I think he’ll do well. THe establishments candidates are all over the place in these polls. Hopefully Trump and Ted will benefit from that chaos.
One poll that just came out shows Ted Cruz tied for second.
Almost all states are proportional delegates. The only early state that has winner take all is SC. The next is Florida on 3/15.
And another shows him behind the establishment pack. It’s all across the board.
I think Politico finally figured out that Cruz is no real threat to (clear throat, uh hum) “legalization”, but that every peep Cruz makes is spoken in legalese that kicks the issue over to Capital Hill where it would pass, but without his finger prints when it does.
