The day of her death was immensely distressing for the family. The doctor was so incompetent that he failed to bring bandages to hold fast the needle for the lethal injection. Instead, he asked Tine's father to hold it on her arm. There was no place to hang the infusion bag with the toxic drug so the doctor placed it on the arm of Tine's armchair. To the dismay of her grieving family, it plopped onto her face as she died. Then the doctor asked her parents to use his stethoscope to see that she was well and truly dead.
The doctor even described Tine's death as "a lethal injection administered to a favourite pet to end its suffering."
I guess this is the "dignity" that the culture of death promises.

Only to be expected in a culture that has no fear of God, no knowledge of God.
Sad to say, where we are headed apart from divine intervention......

Sign of a civilization that is willingly submitting to self-extinction.

So the women are complaining not because their troubled sister was killed - they are complaining because the process was a bit casual and awkward?
My son, like the murdered suicidal woman here, is on the autistic spectrum. He has endured bouts of depression. He has said a time or two that if it weren’t for his faith, he wouldn’t want to keep living as he was.
The cruelest cruelest thing imaginable would be to say to someone enduring this suffering, “Your life isn’t worth living. You aren’t worth keeping alive. Let me hold your hand as you die.”
What an appalling failure of love. A betrayal of family and God.
