Will he or won't he retire?

Denver Broncos quarterback celebrates his second NFL championship in post-game interview Despite many expecting Peyton Manning to announce his retirement following his Super Bowl 50 win, the Denver Broncos quarterback sidestepped the question in hist first two post-game interviews.

Instead, the long-time NFL player said he was going to spend time with his family and took the opportunity to plug Budweiser beer.

"I'm going to take some time to reflect," Manning said. "I got a couple priorities first. I want to go kiss my wife and my kids, I want to go hug my family. I'm going to drink a lot of Budweiser."

Budweiser. You would think he could spring for something just a tad better.

Twice in post game interviews they tried to get Peyton to announce retirement or to say he’ll be back. He didn’t take the bait. Peyton, being Peyton and the class act he is, was not about to make that team moment of glory just about him. He sidestepped graciously and artfully. Another great highlight among many in a great career.

Congrats Broncos!

I don’t know Manning will decide his retirement question; I can’t imagine teams thinking he can lead them to another Super Bowl. Glad he got a second ring (so he’s tied with our QB, Eli Manning), but definitely a game where the defense earned the MVP.
