Please tell where Manning had an effect on the outcome of this game? Looked to me like they could have put 70+ year old Joe Namath back there and the outcome would have been the same.

What a question. Really? If nothing else everyone on thet field was playing a little bit hard so they wouldn’t look bad compared to a 40 year old Old Man. How many people do you think even in their 20’s could have done better. Most of us couldn’t have taken a hits like he did tonight when we were young and in shape.

I don't think anyone made an argument for Peyton playing a great game. He struggled for most of the season and even had to be benched. The overwhelming sentiment is how much of a team win it was for the Broncos. Peyton was one of the first to give his team and the defense all the credit.
