Good grief.
A man stands next to you, his head bowed, quietly waiting his turn to speak.
And you spin it into something nefarious?
Your conclusion is downright strange. Your description of the encounter exonerates Cruz more than it implicates him.
Let me slow down for you Private. We are up against a side wall of a 4 sided room. There is a stage at the front of the room. He and I are against the left wall almost at the back of the room farthest from the stage that is. He is next to me closer to the stage against the wall. Everyone is looking towards the stage including Cruz and I. That would make me actually behind him. He did not want me to see what he was doing so he shielded me from seeing what he was looking at by putting his head against the wall and turning his left shoulder towards the wall. He was wearing a sweater that has a zipper collar that many hen pecked middle aged men wear. I was wearing a cool all silk Tommy Bahama camp shirt under my black 3/4 length coat.
