Few people will talk about this, and fewer will even want to acknowledge it, but what Donald Trump did before the debate even began shows the measure of a real man's worth.
Trump and Carson
At the beginning of the ABC debate, each of the candidates were being introduced in a specific order. The first name called to the stage was Chris Christie. The applause was loud and lingered through the time when Martha Raddatz called the second candidate Ben Carson.
Dr. Carson did not hear his name called (easy to understand why when you listen to the video) and stood in the entry-way. The moderators, with their backs to the candidates, didn't notice his absence and called the third name on the list, Ted Cruz.
Ted walked past Dr. Carson and onto the stage. Carson remained in the awkward, and embarrassing position, 'no-mans-land', on-camera but out of sight of the live audience.
What happened next shows the remarkable character of Donald Trump.
The fourth name called was Donald Trump, but by then the back-stage crew and candidates were aware of Dr. Carsons' position. Trump slowly approached, and then realized the embarrassing position of a fellow candidate hanging in the wind.
Trump showed his leadership by standing right next to his friend, and not walking onto the stage.
The other names continued to be called, and proceeded as mentioned. But not Donald Trump, he remained with his colleague thereby reducing the internal anxiety felt by Carson.
It would have been very easy for Trump to walk by Ben, just like all the other candidates did. But instead he chose to wait, and remove the embarrassment factor by infinite magnitudes.
Then, like a boss, when Dr. Carson was called to the stage, Trump waited and allowed Ben to get the audience response and appreciation. It takes a lot of courage to make split second decisions like this, and it shows a remarkable insight into the man's character.
But the more I think about it, the posted explanation makes better sense than my initial take. Good for Trump.

I suspect his serial cheating on his wives of the moment shows more about Trump’s character than waiting on his friend Ben - who is acting as Trump’s surrogate in attacking Cruz over nothing.

Actually both Carson and trump missed their introductions....trump wasn’t standing with anyone. Just ignorant cultist wishing something that isn’t true
They allow Martha Raddatz , a rabid Left Wing Progressive, hyper partisan Democrat and major Barak Obama supporter whose husband is an Obama political appointee, be a Moderator for the Republican Presidential Debates.
And Raddatz is still less biased and sabotaging than the Fox News team .

There’s something really wrong with Jeb. When he ran for governor, did he have a really weak opponent? I can’t understand why anyone would vote this Asperger’s-like person.
I didn’t notice any kindness. I noticed that Trump, like Carson, didn’t hear his name being called over the applause for the previous person’s entrance. I also noticed that classy Trump used the words sh*t & fu*k in NH townhalls; not only that, but their were many young children present.
Exactly I can’t believe these idiots spinning this to make trump look better...if you have any sense just watch it again and you can tell he didn’t hear his name...this is stupid even for the trump cult
Yes, Trump acknowledged and asked and stood with Carson. But I think Carson thought he was going to be introduced ahead of some of the lower-polling guys. I also think Trump probably didn’t mind the idea of hanging back to be the last on the stage. Kasich, however, who got the favorable rollout, held back to go on last and get the last-guy applause. So Trump graciously came out before it grew more awkward.
Agreed—Rubio, Cruz, and Kasich didn’t look so good.
This is funny spin, but it definitely looked like both Trump and Carson were confused by the inept ABC handling of the intro.
Carson walked most of the way out after his name was called, then stopped right in from of the camera. Someone from behind was telling him and motioning him to go on out.
Gentle Ben was practicing his bit of upstaging and passive aggression. Trump could have told Ben that his name was previously called, but Trump too wanted in on the upstaging.
Pretending it was anything different is very telling on why the DONEald’s poutin and cussin gets your short attention.
The skit had Larry David playing Bernie, so they didn’t need our Socialist Buddy signing on to it.
The other appearances with Bernie were good especially the Titanic sinking Lifeboat skit.
Bernie got his line in about the 1%, which is funny considering Larry David was standing next to him and he is a true 1%’er. Bernie didn’t appear wooden reciting his lines.
I wonder if Bernie really has a problem with putting 2% Milk in his Coffee?
Donald wrote it in his book. He bragged about his having married women while he himself was married
He smeared Carson as a child predictor like personality.
Use google, so easy a trumpette would find what theory were looking for IF they wished to.
If that were the motive vs running from thread to thread gang posting against anyone that dare challenge the all mighty Trump is our savior mentality.
Trump never dropped the F bomb. He never said it. He said something in a way that people my think he said that be actually never uttered the word.
